Welcome...
...to Liberty
Oldtimers, your reliable source of high quality collector cars. Liberty Oldtimers specializes in trading top notch collector cars in general and in Cadillacs and Lincolns in particular.
Who we are
Liberty
Oldtimers was founded by Rik Gruwez following a twenty year long hobby collecting American cars. Rik started out at the age of sixteen with an old Chevrolet he had received from his grandfather. This car started the passion and there was no way back since that moment. After more than 20 years, Rik has gathered an enormous experience when it comes to Cadillacs and Lincolns. The philosophy of Liberty Oldtimers is different, because the company is being run from the point of view of a passionate collector. Every single car offered is selected with great care and receives the best preparation possible. Through a vast network of connections within the USA it is possible to select only the best cars. Those exquisite collector items are subsequently shipped to Belgium and are added to Liberty Oldtimers' inventory. This highly selective process ensures that the quality of the cars offered is next to none. Rik personally commits to offer only the best cars. With more than 20 years of experience in the field as a hobbyist he has developed the talent to pick out the cream of the crop. That way you can obtain the dream car that you deserve. Liberty Oldtimers' motto is not a hollow one: Out of a passion for excellence.

1970 Cadillac Eldorado
|
On October 31st 1969 Los Altos, CA based Dr. Seymour Wallace and his wife became the proud owners of this extremely exceptional 1970 Cadillac Eldorado. Wanting something out of the ordinary, they had ordered the highly unusual color combination of Nottingham Green Firemist with red leather. The paint code (PNT 96) and trim code (TR 488) confirm this is the original color combination. On top of this, the car does not have a vinyl top, contrary to the majority of 1970 Eldorados that left the factory. This "slick top" look give the car a sportive touch, exactly as the legendary designer Bill Mitchell had intended. This car is unique, simply because of the color combination. It is extremely rare to find a nice 1970 Eldorado available for sale. The extra bonus of the color combination makes this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Liberty Oldtimers is particularly honored to be able to offer this Eldorado to its customers. |

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
|
This marvelous Firethorn Eldorado Convertible has belonged for a very long time to a dedicated collector. The car has been meticulously maintained. With only 51,000 original miles on the odometer, it comes as no surprise that the gorgeous leather interior is close to mint. The car was used in summer only, which is corroborated by its overall condition. There is not a single speck of rust. A couple of years ago, this Cadillac was completely repainted in its original color. Contrary to many other repaints, this job was executed to the highest standards. All trim, glass, weatherstripping and the interior were removed before the car entered the paint booth. The result is nothing short of stunning. The exceptionally good condition of this Cadillac is without a doubt a guarantee for many more years of driving pleasure. |

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
|
Once in a while you can find California cars in Europe. What makes this Cadillac truly unique is the fact that it has been in California since day one. Consequently, this Eldorado does not know what snow, ice, winter or road salt is. This is obvious when you look at the general condition of the car. The "Cotillion White" paint has been extremely well preserved and the red leather interior has a delightful patina. Also on a mechanical level this Eldorado is in exceptional condition. Since the car has done only 38,000 miles since new, it is not surprising that we are dealing with a Cadillac that drives like a new one. Take place behind the perfect steering wheel, feel the comfort of the leather seat, start the engine and enjoy this dream Cadillac to the fullest!

1962 Cadillac Sedan de Ville
|
After the gigantic 1959 tail fins, it was time for Cadillac to tone down and build a more restrained car. This 1962 Sedan de Ville in "Sage Poly" is exactly what the Cadillac buyer was looking for after the excesses of the late 1950s. Stylish and distinguished, with its double fin (the so-called "skeg") at each side, this 1962 Sedan de Ville offers all comfort and luxury proper to a Cadillac. The original interior is still in excellent condition, totally in line with the 44,000 miles the car has on the odometer. Because of the lack of a B-pillar, you get the genuine hardtop look when all side windows are lowered. Enjoy comfort, luxury and style in this magnificent Cadillac Sedan de Ville. |

1964 Buick Riviera
|
No other car represents better the boundless optimism of the Space Age era which governed the USA halfway the 1960s than the Buick Riviera. It was the time of the Gemini space project and the race to the moon was in full swing. The 1964 Riviera reflects this optimism perfectly with its elegant and modern lines, the stunning dashboard with lots of chrome and aluminum and the powerful Wildcat engine, displacing 425 cubic inches (7 liters). Because the 1963 Riviera lost a lot of power due to the use of the rather gutless Dynaflow transmission, it received the much better THM-400 transmission in 1964. The Riviera you see here has been purchased from a passionate collector who lived in Texas and Southern California. The car is 100% rust free, has virtually spotless chrome and drives like new. This is a very rare car with a high collector appeal. |

This is hardly surprising, given the fact that this car has covered a mere 31.000 original miles. The black vinyl top is perfect and the chrome shines just like the day the car left the factory. This glorious Cadillac has all the commanding presence for The Standard of the World. |

1976 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
|
Step back in time to the year 1976. It was the final year for the big rear wheel drive Cadillacs, because in 1977 the Coupe de Ville would lose no less than 60cm of its overall length. This is why the final big Cadillacs are so wanted by collectors. They represent the end of an era, when stylists where not hampered by all kinds of restrictions. This superb Coupe de Ville is a very worthy representative of these final grand Cadillacs. It has always been meticulously maintained by its former owner, both on a mechanical as on a cosmetic level. This is immediately evident when you see the extremely well preserved interior, the exceptional condition of the vinyl top and the shine in the Innsbruck Blue paint. The 500 cubic inch (8200cc) V8 has more than sufficient power and endless amounts of torque to crown this splendid Cadillac as "King of the Road".

1977 Cadillac Eldorado
|
On very few occasions one encounters a car that is truly exceptional. This 1977 Eldorado Coupe in Naples Yellow is such an example. With only 9500 (yes, nine thousand five hundred) original miles on the odometer, this car is in an amazingly original condition. It is arguably one of the best Eldorados of that era currently for sale. Having had only one previous owner, who obviously took excellent care of this Cadillac, this is an unrepeatable opportunity. This car is absolutely 100% original. Unbelievable! |
